No dual extrusion needed-- the bulbs are a separate model from the letters.

I've always wanted some vintage movie theater marquee letters. Finally, my glamorous cat can see her name in lights.

Printed on my Makerbot Replicator 2 on standard settings. Gold PLA for the letters + Natural for the bulbs.
No raft or supports for the letters, but use a raft for the bulbs. Plate multiple at a time to avoid tedious insanity.
1. Print letters
2. Print the bulbs
3. Assemble then refuse all incoming forms of human communication unless done via printed marquee signs
BONUS: Use glow-in-the-dark fillament for the bulbs
