# Super Smash Brothers trophy!

I'm having a Super Smash Brothers tournament and wanted to make a trophy. I found a few models online, but none I really...Plus liked, so I designed my own.

### How to print

There are two trophies here. One is a trophy for Singles, and one is a trophy for Doubles. For the Singles trophy, print one full coin, one full base, one leaves left, and one leaves right.

For the double's trophy, print two "base half", one coin left, one coin right, one leaves left, one leaves right.

No supports should be needed for any part of this. I printed everything with a .8mm nozzle, .25mm layer height, 2 shells, 25% infill. Do whatever works best for your printer--it's a pretty easy model to print on purpose.

### How to assemble

Start by painting everything however you want. I used Minwax Gel - Red Elm on the base, which was printed out of Priline woodfill filament. Awesome stuff. The leaves were made silver with "Silver Leaf" Rub n Buff. The coin was made gold with Gold Leaf Rub n Buff.

If you're doing the single's trophy, start by gluing the two halves of the leaves together at the base. Just a thin smear of CA will do it.

Next, fit the coin into place in the middle of the leaves. The leaves have small areas removed to make a perfect negative space for the coin. I reinforced these joints with small carbon fiber rods superglued to the back.

The leaves pieces press into place pretty firmly into the base, but I superglued mine in place to be safe. I then used some small, nylon "surface saver" dots on the bottom of the trophy to give it a professional feel. Felt pads or whatever would work as well.

For the doubles, everything is exactly the same, except the left half of the coin fits with the left leaves, the right half of the coin fits with the right leaves, etc.

### Other Ideas

I scaled down the coins, and made some silver, then scaled them down further and made them bronze, and I am doing coins (without the trophy portion) as prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
