The Dremel 3D45 has a carbon filter attached to the inside of the exhaust fan. The back of the printer has 4 screws which are not the same hole pattern as the fan
...Plus and have no apparent purpose except to be used as an exhaust hose adapter. This adapter kit uses the 4 back screws to mount a flange (part A) on the back of the printer.
Part B attaches to a 4" flexible dryer hose and twist locks onto the part A flange.
Part C attaches to the other end of the dryer hose and also adapts to an 80mm fan for extra airflow if needed.
Even though the Dremel 3D45 printer has a carbon filter for fumes and VOCs, this hose kit allows you to exhaust remaining fumes and VOCs out a window. This is especially useful for printing 3rd party filaments such as ABS. Or, if you just want to be extra cautious of printing exhaust with any filament indoors.
Supports are only needed for parts A and B.
Number 6 sheet metal screws are used to attach the fan to part C. Part C can also be attached to a thin panel that fits in a window using the same screws (with or without the fan.
Use zip ties to secure the hose ends.
