The small tab broke off my Roku remote a couple years ago. It's been taped since then which has always resulted a gooey mess on the back of the remote. I
...Plus guess there are $10 replacement remotes on Ebay but it's much more fun to amaze everyone by just making one.
I used support material all around everything because this thing seems to print best laid down with the mating surface on the table of the printer (like in the picture). Take special care with the small tab when removing support material. I busted a couple off and this thing is like an hour to print. The "hook" on the end of the latch came out around .010" bigger than the model. It didn't print well in that area so I filed down the back-side of the tab until the thickness of the latch, over the hook, was .110". Filing down the top of the hook doesn't work so well as there is a blend on each end to help it slide in and out of the latch hole easily.
I'm including the FreeCAD model (fcstd) and a STEP file in case anyone wants to modify it.
